Dear Saint Rose of Lima Parishioners,

Over the past week, many of you have expressed your gratitude and excitement for the progress we’ve made together. As we look toward the future, we now take the next important step in discerning where God is leading us.

New Marian Center

Demolition of the former structure is complete, and we are preparing for the next exciting phase. IKON Construction remains our trusted partner, and we’re moving steadily toward groundbreaking. On October 14th, we received approval from Bishop Spalding to proceed with construction. Contracts have been approved by the diocesan legal team and sent to IKON for signature. Final design work for mechanical, electrical, and plumbing systems are underway. Once complete, we will file for a building permit — construction expected to begin four to six weeks after filing. Additionally, we’ve directed the architect to revise the plans to remove the Food Pantry and designate that space as a Youth Center. Once revised documents are received, we will file a Change Order with the contractor.
